2008 WSNC Scholarship Winners
The recipients of the $8000.00 West Side Nut Club Scholarships are Josh Burton of Reitz and Drew Lappe of Mater Dei. Each year, applications are accepted for the West Side Nut Club Foundation Scholarship. Applications are submitted to the University of Southern Indiana for selection. One student each from F.J. Reitz High School and Mater Dei High School are awarded a $8,000 scholarship to USI. Recipients must have a G.P.A. of 2.5 - 3.3 and have demonstrated involvement in community service. President Dan Lewis along with Nut Club members Joe Beck and Glenn Modesitt presented the scholarships to the two deserving young men.
