Butterflies and Rainbows benefit dinner and dance has been planned for Taylor Holweger. Taylor is the daughter of West Side Nut Club member Brent Holweger and wife Staci. She is 4 yrs old and has been at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis since May of 2007 battling leukemia. For tickets call Renee Crowder at 812-457-9468 or e-mail . The last day to purchase tickets is January 10th.
Taylor's condition continues to improve. Brent, Staci, and Taylor will be able to come home and attend the event.
Taylor has had several treatment related complications and has spent quite a bit of time in the ICU. Most recently she had to have part of her lung removed due to infection, but she is healing nicely. The goal now is to get her to bone marrow transplant. Her 2 yr old brother Trey is a perfect match for the transplant. All of the proceeds from the benefit in January will go directly to Taylor to help cover medical expenses. Her story & additional pictures can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/taylorholweger .
The dinner and dance is planned for Friday January 18th and the 4-H Center Auditorium. Troy Miller and Static with Rachel will be performing that night. For more information contact:
