Morrow to Receive Oustanding Citizen's Award
West Side Nut Club Member and Evansville Firefighter Jim "Spike" Morrow to receive the Outstanding Citizen's Award.
On June 7, 2007 Morrow assisted in saving the lives of 2 small children when they and their mother were struck by a truck while trying to cross Fulton Avenue.
For your actions on June 7, 2007, the Chief of Police has reuqested that the Evansville Police Merit Commision recognize your commendable service to the community.
It is with greatest pleasure to advise you that the Police Merit Commission concurred with the recommendation of the Chief and voted to award you with the Outstanding Citizen's Award.
