A driving rain storm couldn't keep the crowd and the excitement from what has become a staple event at the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival.  Eighth graders representing schools from the west side of Evansville took to the stage in anticipation of becoming the Fall Festival Queen and King. 

Announcer Les Shively kept the crowd on edge as he announced the winner was from the West Side and after a pause proclaimed St Joe's Olivia Deweese was the 2008 West Side Nut Club's Fall Festival Queen.  She was escorted by Alex Schneider.
