The West Side Nut Club's Tug of War competition is a tradition at the Fall Festival. This year the "tug-off" committee had a blind draw to determine seeding. Each team will be composed of students from the seventh and eight grades with a balance of boys and girls. Two alternates may be chosen from these grades. Composite weight of the team shall be between 1280 and not exceed 1300 pounds. Team members must wear rubber sole shoes without cleats. Gloves will be permitted; however, they must be basic jersey gloves. No fishing gloves. There will be two judges supplied by the West Side Nut Club. The judge's decision will be final.
